THE TIKI BAR EPISODE (Possible scene for the upcoming MVANNP original series)
EXT: SUNNY BEACH BAR
OPEN ON: Lean in close-up — of a festive fruity drink (you know the kind, the ones with little umbrellas and little wedges if fruit) at a beach TIKI BAR.
ZOOM OUT: KYLE (think Bruce Willis in one of the Die Hard movies) is drinking the fruity drink. The BARTENDER (think Jeff Daniels in Dumb & Dumber) walks up while wiping a mug.
BARTENDER: “Need another one?”
KYLE looks around the crowded bar and notices somebody familiar, it’s WAYNE (think Jeff Bridges “The Dude” in the Big Lebowski.)
SFX: Bing! You got the correct answer.
KYLE: “Wayne! Yep, gonna need another one.”
KYLE jumps up and races his way over to WAYNE who’s eating a CRUSTY CRAB CAKE SANDWICH — who notices, then takes off running down the beach. KYLE chases, both crashing into everything.
KYLE: “Hey you oversized, sun-baked, sea urchin!”
KYLE stops the chase and notices a group of seagulls are now interested in and chasing WAYNE who is valiantly trying to escape all his pursuers.
WAYNE: “You can’t have it. You can-not-have-it Kyle. It’s mine. I got it first.”
